is Samurai Warriors 4-2 pretty good? I like musous but I prefer my musous flashy. I was pretty sorely disappointed in Dragon Quest Heroes as a result.
The only musou I've enjoyed was the first ken's rage, it just felt right.

Still have yet to play a SW title, but I rather enjoyed DQ Heroes. Though it makes sense to say that it's sort of like Tower Defense meets Musou, which is why you might not have enjoyed it as much.

Ken's Rage was really enjoyable for me as well. 2 has the better roster, but 1's gameplay is where it's at.

It felt really shallow for a musou and that's kind of saying a lot.
The combos you start with are basically all you have, you have a couple skills/spells to use and that's pretty much it. Plus some characters are just not fun, like pic related
Also I felt like there were too few enemies and they were spread out really sparsely.

Yes, the enemies are fairly sparse, even though there's a good number of them, but I enjoy TWOMERANG the character enough. Tserevna is my favorite tho.

Alena is fun and her splitting gimmick is wasted on the lack of enemies to wreck upon with her.
