They should've increased the FP cost. You can literally cast it 7 - 8 times in a row without running out of juice. If you're ever in trouble you just replace the next Storm with Death Field instead. Instant 100% heal. Even if they Save you still gain enough health to fully replenish yourself. And the damage is enough to destroy any enemy in the game.

Because both games centered around the Jedi and Sith. The Old Republic lets you play as several non-jedi/sith classes that have nothing to do with them, so The Old Republic is a more neutral name in that regard.

Don't put more than 14 in everything when allocating stats at the start. The cost isn't worth it and you'll get items that boost your "main" stat very early in the game. Being balanced means having more fun. You can switch tactics mid game without getting royally fucked etc.

They're both turn-based RPGs with gameplay resolving in real time unless you pause, and you have an option to pause every turn if you really want to. They're slow by design, because they're made for people expecting them to be. They're not Jedi Knight "FPS with lightsabers" games. Hmm, I just started PoE. First 2 hours were pretty good, but something about the Fantasy genre and DnD trappings rubs me the wrong way.
You know what would be cool? A starwars game with anUndertaletype morality system.
Rather than picking from dark and light, each being balanced. You're a Jedi or force sensitive who is being constantly tempted by the darkside. Going full moralfag is a challenge mode, since you only get access to base powers. No lightning and choking bitches. You can't just up and murder people you don't like, threaten them, deceive them etc. You've got to be as stoic and pacifist as possible, trying to find fair, diplomatic solutions and only fighting as a last resort.
Darkside on the other hand makes you extremely powerful and gets you through certain parts of the game way easier, however OP as fuck enemies start showing up at certain points and the game becomes extremely challenging towards the end as your edgelord powers are put to the test.
Going grey is basically the easy route and there are different outcomes depending on different decisions you make.

If the game has a big enough crowd of people, its very easy to die if you're not disrupting some of them, until you get deflection etc. I think the games difficulty gets wonky because each planet is the same difficulty with no scaling. So you always get more powerful, but the stuff you fight doesnt.

Also, I have a light side consular in KOTOR I, and no idea what force powers to use. I should have gone Sentinel, dark side has all the offensive force powers

All party members are viable and can be built to suit your playstyle perfectly. Atton is beast with dual blasters, even if you make him a jedi. Sentinel is great in KotOR2, mainly because of all the skill checks you encounter.
