FTL, Binding of Isaac Rebirth, AoE 2, homm3, Doom 1,2 (3 very probably as well don't know how shit your rig is), F.E.A.R., Penumbra, Broken Sword series, witcher 1, warcraft 3, source port of xcom, source port of arx fatalis, gothic 2, Elder scrolls morrowind/oblivion, legend of grimrock 1,2, Baldur's gate 1,2, Jedi outcast, Jedi academy, Battlefront 2, Dominions 4, Europa universalis and most of the grand strategy genre, Civ 5 (or civ4 if that's too much but 5 works on my shitty rig), Most platformers like Shovelknight, shantae, cave story, enviromental station alpha.
All this is just off the top of my head. I played all of these games and I really liked every single one.

Unreal Tournament 2004. Only one in the UT series worth playing, anyway.

good post anon. Hit most of what I was going to mention.
Don't forget you can emulate gameboy advance, snes, ps1, and n64, psp games as well. I also recommend the dawn of war 1 games.
Shitty 2D indie platformers.

found him
Mount & Blade
Knights of Honor
Terraria
Risk of Rain
Dark Souls 1 & 2
desu most games these days run on "low end" PC's cause there haven't been that huge leaps in terms of upgrades from one Windows OS to the next.
It's harder to find high end PC games.
