I can't get past HR 7 monsters without dying at least twice, sometimes I get one shot. Tigrex is impossible to kill without dying at least once and his spin attack is impossible to dodge as well. Fuck this artificial difficulty shit.

I just don't like Dark Souls because it's boring. It's atmosphere, monotone characters, and minimalist story that relies on lore that most people find appealing literally put me to sleep. I gave Demon's Souls a try when it first came out and it didn't click, and I tried Dark Souls when it came out to find similar results. I can't be bothered to git gud, because I don't think the game is fun.
If people like them then whatever, good for them I guess. I don't see the appeal of a boring game with clunky and obtuse game mechanics.
At least Monster Hunter is lighthearted and fun with an adventurous tone/ost to help keep me motivated.
Those games do look pretty though, I'll give them that.

If you're using a gs you wanna hit the head obviously I think the hunting horn is the same idea. But for gore. You can cheese pretty well by tucking between his back legs and go full retard on his invisible balls. That way you can avoid the majority of all his attacks. This includes Shigeru magala and chaogala
Any advice on soloing 140 Apex Rajang? I'm tired of relying on pubs but I can't break Apex alone. GS/DB user.

Learn your weapon's moveset, how long the animation is, when you can dodge, etc.
It's fairly easy to 'git gud,' so long as you learn how the weapons work. Eerything else is learning monster animations. To be fair, some monster attack hitboxes are a bit wonky. Like the Monoblos managed to hit me with his tail, despite me being nearly 5 feet from it when he swiped it.
Nothing can top the Plesioth, though.

Know how to use your weapon.
Don't get greedy.
Get in and get out.

You need tremor res, earplugs, and evasion if using GS.
Just evasion will work for more mobile weapons if you're gud enough.
If you don't bring these defensive skills, you will be forced to hang back, lose lots of openings you would otherwise have, and the hunt will drag on.
If you play too aggressively without these skills, you will get hit and cart.
