So I'm curious... How many of you would be interested in making a /v/ collaborated MM level together, akin to how mosaic threads work? I figured since things are kind of slow right now, and to keep things simple, we could give 2 screen sections (represented by the dashed lines in pic related) to each anon and make 12 sections total. I could make a template level, a few anons can make their section and post pics ITT for me to copy into the final level by hand or upload their level so I can download it and copy it that way.
How many of you would be interested in doing this? And if so, what game style and world theme should we use? Strawpolls just to make a final decision easier.

The animations look janky and weird, and while the ground textures are nice and the wall-jump, spin-jump, and ground-pound are all nice abilities, 3 and World have the best styles in the game, so people are willing to sacrifice style for mechanics. Fashion souls, as /dsg/ would say.

I planned to throw a vine block in at the start so players could access the top from the get-go, but if the top layer proves to be a bad idea or ignored, then we can use a sublevel in the future and just make it a 'double length' level.

Oh yeah, try not to get spammy with doors, if everyone tries using doors then some will have to be removed due to the 4-door limit.

Same here dude. My final level total is going to be 78 levels fully. When I hit my last medal and uploaded the last level set I had, the stars wouldn't stop coming in then, and it was great. One of my regulars that plays all of my levels told me I was "ranked" or something? I was number 77. I was getting something like 25 stars a day, it was insane! Then I finished my new level set, and now, I barely get 5 stars a day. It sucks, my star count suddenly slowed down right when I am the closest I could be to reaching the next medal. Its funny too, because I haven't wanted to start playing any of my other games since I got into this one, so I have a backlog that is continuing to grow faster and faster:

>Get Bayonetta 1 & 2, plus Xenoblade X, and someone pre-ordered Star Fox Zero for me, ALL for Christmas.

Wiggler Water War is fun, some tight maneuvering in there just like I like it. Skycicle would really benefit from a mushroom pickup though, the level's too slippery to make mistakes a one hit kill in my opinion.

The starting section (B1) will have a vine block that allows the player to get to A1, or they can just waltz through the Bs. You can either make your section to be connective friendly, ie if you're a lower section you put a spring in somewhere, or if you're a higher section you put a gap in somewhere, as well as openings to side paths. If a section doesn't connect well with other sections, or is totally impossible to pass through, I can make some minor changes to make things work.
tl;dr - just make a section and keep in mind that other sections can connect in a variety of ways, so don't just make a wall of spikes on one side.
