>tfw if Microsoft didn't buy Rareware the Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie, and possibly Killer Instinct would be on Super Smash Bros.
>>

The new Killer Instinct is a fuckton better than Autism Bros.
>>
>>322006784
Rare started to fuck up in the N64 age. They just couldn't finish and launch games.

2010 when they became a kinect only studio. They seem to be back on track now.

>DKC
>Not overrated
Miyamoto was right, those games were style over substance.

Rare only hit the sweet spot with Banjo.

>confirmed for autism

When more then half the original team left. By the time Microsoft bought them out, they were already an empty husk of a studio making flop after flop. MS sandbagging their proposed games didn't help either

>Nintendo fan in denial
That's cute. Thankfully you guys are already dying.
>>
Rare Replay looks fun, only you'd have to get the xboner to play it.
>>
Rare has always been hit or miss, people just choose their hills to die on with them because nostalgia.

It went wrong, truly wrong, with the Kinect shit, but i'm hoping the recent stuff with them is the sign of an upward swing, I dug the shit out of going back and playing some of the stuff I hadn't played from them with Rare Replay.

Their best games are Blast Corps, DKC2, Diddy Kong Racing, and Viva Pinata.

I had a ton of fun with Atic Atac for some reason. The only game I go back to in Rare Replay

Perfect dark was better than Goldeneye and timesplitters.
>>
>>322006784

They peaked with the first two Banjo titles, and Blast Corps.
