Just remember psi is all or nothing. Don't half commit some skills to it. You can beat the game with zero crafting. It just lets you make cool shit.

Max in mechanics and some points in electronics for guns, crossbows and melee.
Max electronics for extremaly useful utility gadgets like night vision goggles, close range stun tasers, energy shields etc, a few points for shock ammmo for guns/crossbow and psi headbands.
Max tailoring with some mechanics for armors in general, with some points into chemistry or biology for specific ones, a few point for molotovs.
Biology for drugs and medicine, also some for psi headbands and psi armors.
Chemistry for chemical gun/crossbow ammo, chemical pistols and grenades.

You should always go mechanic/tailoring to make weapons/armors imo, electronic is also arguably extremely useful because it makes a shitton of useful stuff like taser, googles, etc.
Not going crafting makes you completely reliant on rng for your equip which might be fun as a self-imposed challenge but it's a pretty bad idea otherwise. Not to mention most builds gain a lot from having crafting talents and in some cases, like the energy/chemical pistol users, the crafting is build defining. Tactical vest with a psi beetle shell are fucking godly for PSI users, but good luck finding one in the shops.
To anyone that has finished Abram's quest line. Can I kill/break out todor and still do all the occulist stuff after? I've read you have to prove his innocence or you get locked out.
