The best Assassin's Creed turns out to be a better game than what it set out to be.
Hands down the best Butt Promise game. Also gets points for making me hate and love the protagonist. He's a stupid asshole but has lovable moments, and that flashback of hisdeadfriends at the end punched me in the feels.

Sid Meier's Pirates comes to mind. Little to no land-based gameplay asides from taking strongholds, fighting troops and looking for treasure

do people really think this is the best assassins creed there is? dont get me wrong i fucking loved it. i grew up commercial fishing and doing a bit of sailing. this is a great for me just for the fact you get a boat to fix up and sail around. it just seemed like they were in such a hurry to get it out, it was lacking in detail and polish. couldnt get as immersed in it as with #2. i was a whore for ac2 trilogy.

Rogue was basically Black Flag 2 and was ironically a lot better and more fun than the travesty was Unity. Especially considering Unity was supposed to be the flagship title and Rogue was just the "scraps" they gave to the old console generation.
