I really like his fighting style and look.
I like big heavy swipes and huge lunges.
I like that he just punches the shit out of people and lunges all over the place. I like his kicking theme and cool-ass mask and trenchcoat.
Third Strike is a fast ass game, so having a predictable, slow guy was a death sentence. It's also why Hugo sucks
Ehh, I feel pretty mixed on low tier characters I typically think maining mid or low characters will typically only limit you but it depends on the game. Even then certain mid or low tier mains are annoying(I fucking hate people who blame their opponents win because they choose a mid or low tier character) even then you'll mostly likely end up as a free win for someone. Anyway even though he's shit I do love playing alex. If he's good in 5 I might main him.
More mid-tier, but I gotta love Dong, always have since 64.

Alex only sucks because he is in a game that favours speed over basically everything else
Come SFV, which is more combo and zone focused (or hell, even if he was in SFIV) he's bound to be pretty decent.
