Just stopped playing Shadows of Mordor for tonight. It's pretty fun even though the combat system really is nothing special, I've honestly had more fun running around Mordor collecting the Ithildin and the Artifacts.
The nemesis system is top notch though, needs to be used in more games.

Nothing. I haven't really played a game since before Christmas. I started playing Underrail but after a few hours and finishing Depot A I came to the conclusion that it's a sack of shit and stopped. Now I'm just floating in the gameless void until January, where I'll have version 1.0 of Darkest Dungeon and Dragon's Dogma which I hope won't be terrible.
Sucks about the present though. Even got $100 in Steam credit I can't really find anything I wanna burn it on. Was considering some shit like Thea the Awakening and ADOM, but shit discounts on both. Also considering Satellite Reign, but heard it's not terribly good and Xcom 2's coming up in a couple months.

I'm hopelessly addicted to Poketoru, a cell phone puzzle game where you catch Pokemon and then use them as pieces to damage the next Pokemon. It's a pay-to-win game but I've been going for like three weeks straight without paying a dime. Go get it back from the barracks terminal. If you perfected your escape prompt, you'll still have all 3 insurances on it. If not, you still have 2 insurance on it. After those are gone, you'll have to pay big bucks to salvage it. AIs always perfect their escape prompts, so pass it down to them once you get down to 1 insurance and you'll never have to pay for it.

I'm getting really fucking sick of having to farm for blood vials, ammo, and antidotes after every death to the bloodthirsty beast boss. Destroys all pacing, which is a shame because the pacing is good. I'm really falling in love with this game, so this discrepancy is standing out next how beautifully everything else is designed.

It's Bloodborne's form of punishment, like the halved HP/tendency in DeS, lost humanity in DaS1 and losing HP in DaS2. Since you don't really lose anything upon death in Bloodborne, if you die too many times, you will be forced to lose time

It is a bit, yes, but it's not that terrible. You did kind of need to get grass in DeS if you ran out, on top of the halved HP
There are spots that make it easier. If you're stuck on BSB, then simply take a trip from the Central Yharnam lamp to the Gascoigne boss room, killing everything on the way.
Later on simply killing enough enemies and buying the vials is a better choice

I've been playing Xenoblade X and Maple Story reboot with my mates. The former is stellar and the latter is a comfy time waster. Really impressed with the social side quests in X, as well as some of the heart to hearts. Cauldrous is the coolest area with those massive ruins. Occasionally playing Awesomenauts as well. All the new nauts are bretty fun.

Cauldros is a fucking pain to navigate and the only interesting areas are the ganglion base and that one acid lake, everything else is boring generic lava world and copy-pasted floating drills. Every other regions were far more varied and fun to explore.

it's amazing how many people play AG but bring really stupid teams
like, not even joke/troll teams (nothing like fighting 6 Klefki with substitute/swagger/<status move>/foul play, I run one on my team because it'll generally kill a couple stupid things that the rest of my team won't), just shit that gets walked on by anyone who feels like trying in the slightest
also, people forfeiting for like no reason really early on/at team preview is kind of lame, especially after waiting a bit for a match
One thing I noticed was people with surprisingly effective all-fire teams popping up, was pretty neat to fight against.

I've only gotten to it recently so I haven't even mapped out 20% of it yet. I just really like what I've seen so far and it's satisfying as hell to fly through the area. Oblivia's gotta be the most boring to me so far though. It doesn't have the same sense of grandeur to me as the other areas, but I've found all of them to be impressive nonetheless. Noctilum is definitely in a league of its own.
