Is the last remnant bad? I always felt it just was really hard to get into. Like I couldn't because I didn't have the patience to figure out everything and got destroyed several times at different points of the game.
One day I'll finish it with a cheatengine table because the game already defeated me, I don't have any pride left.

It's not a hard game though, what exactly did you struggle with? If it's key-presses, you can have the game auto-input them for you. If that wasn't your issue, then consider how you're building your groups. Sometimes it's good to have plenty of small groups, other times it's great to have a large group. Also keep an eye on your formations and which skills you use.

It's been 3 years since my last attempt but I remember I couldn't keep up with the monster scaling. I always went blind but if I try once again I'll go with every guide available for formations and skill building.

Personally I liked Emmy better than Emma and don't understand the animosity towards her. Emma was pretty gud, but a bit before the 6 bases she became an absolute rape train and could solo unions by herself, plus she's cute.

How anyone can like the first is beyond me and actually hate the second game in comparison is beyond me. Sure the second has it's problems and even though I can't actually say I liked it, it was leagues better than that abomination of a first game.
