overall, even if Chaos Theory is still god tier and best SC, Conviction is still alright in my book, and Blacklist is top tier.
I played Splinter Cell 1 for the first time last week and got to the level after the Oil Rig, had fun.
Downloaded Chaos Theory and the controls are complete fucking nonsense on the gamecube which is a shame because 1's were great.
Ordered Blacklist off ebay for the WiiU, did I do good? This series is super underrated.

Blacklist gets some hate because it does some things wrong and is not truly faithful to Splinter Cell IP (cawadooty tier scenes, literally a FPS level)
But overall it's a very cool game and you can have mad fun If you play lethal stealth.
It's my second favorite SC after CT.
Multiplayer was so fucking fun, I managed to make myself a broken class, I was literally invincible because of the power of the gun and the sonar glasses that could let you see ennemies through walls, I had 7 of KD ratio.

i really liked double agent because it reminded me of 24. having to play the undercover role and do stuff in the terrorist base was really fun. it was the first splinter cell i played.
i never bothered to finish conviction because it didn't grab me like that game did.
I started blacklist recently and liked it but getting kind of bored with it now, enemies are designed to follow specific paths when u reach a certain point and i don't really find it fun seeing that kind of stuff. the levels are also really linear. the voice acting also does my head in, your team is canadian as fuck and grim constantly says OOT instead of out/about.

That's good to hear that its a decent game. I'll take your advice and go lethal stealth. I didn't know it was even a stealth game until I researched the series because it was always marketed in trailers as an action game like conviction.
