Yeah it doesn't make much sense for Smash 4 to have top 32 go past pools. In Melee I could believe there being 32 players that have zero chance of drowning in pools. Smash 4, I can't say the same. I've seen "top players" drown in pools before in Smash 4 or end up getting knocked out immediately in top 32.
