I came back recently for a nostalgia trip.
Hit LDOA in pre, completed every quest and mission until I reached LA then gave up and left. It's not the same.

Second one is not bad, though you run out of content soon. Graphics are amazing.
Also, it's microtransaction hell. Mostly cosmetic, but it's pushed in your face with every step.

Did this as well. Created a new character and went through most of all the campaigns with heroes. It's still good as a pseudo-singleplayer experience as finding people to play with isn't that easy despite there still being quite a few people around.
Game seems to have settled into a stale as fuck meta ever since GW2 came out. Remember all those cool builds you made? They're shit. You're shit. Heroes play the game better than you.

I was 16 in 2005 when it launched.
I remember taking an ambien and fired this game up and joined my friend, listening to jellyfish sea chrono cross ost, and did quests with other people until it kicked in. That was a comfy Wednesday school night in march before bed.
