Man, I would totally do this in AoE2.
Its funny as a kid you could spend hours doing something so boring as building a massive city by yourself and end up showing no one, but now as an adult I can barely stomach building up one settlement in Fallout 4.

Back when my brother and I had pokemon red and blue, he somehow leveled his squirtle to a level 40 blastoise in the first dark cave you enter, just grinding lvl 7 zubats spamming tackle.

Necromancers are complete garbage. Overpriced units that are countered by Wisps, Dryads, Priests, Shaman, and anything else with dispel.
This is the best RTS, in my opinion.

Agh shit I totally forgot, its been a while since I've played and I wasn't good enough for playing the RTS in PVP, just custom games.
