Because Europe modernized, the Arab world did not. Not to mention almost all of their advances were just dug up ideas from the Greeks or borrowed from the Indians.

It was Christian Scientists, and Christianity itself was hardly what made Europe so bloodthirsty. If anything,g Christianity helped stabilize it.
After the Fall of Rome everything went to shit for a bit, eventually about the time everyone was Christian you started seeing distinct nations forming, however. Some knowledge was lost, but much was retained by Christian monks, and despite all the bad the Catholic Church did it also kept Europe from too much major infighting, conflicts being rather limited compared to historical wars, due to the threat of excommunication, mostly.
And yes, Europe was still incredibly bloody, but you look and you'll see how many of these conflicts were limited or ended prematurely or were delayed or even avoided because of the Church or Christian teachings or what have you.
Mindlessly shitting on religion is as dumb as blindly following it. You can't dismiss all the good it did just because you hated your mom taking you to church every Sunday when you were 7.

It wasn't until the Protestant Reformation that Christianity became more rigid and strict due to the writings and demands of Martin Luther, and Christianity fractuted between Catholics and Protestant and instead of focusing on the main enemy Islam and keeping them at bay we fought with ourselves for several hundred years. And now all that's changed since that time is there are less Christians in Europe and an ever steady wave of devout muslims, something that Christian Europe fought for centuries to prevent and keep out.
Thats what your modern atheistic science has given Europe, the seeds of its destruction.

The Church was not against him teaching science, they just wanted him to prove it first. And when asked if he was doing as they told him not to, he lied, while under oath, and got a minor slap on the wrist from it.
The Church was the primary leader of science in Europe for pretty much all of its history until you get to the Renaissance, when private groups being taking an interest in discovery beyond new weapons for war.
