No. I bought a PS4 day one. I still haven't found a game for it that I feel like I must have. Every 60 bucks I spend on a new game I regret. I took Battlefront to a local game shop and traded it in for some old PS2 games. I've played FFXIV more than anything else, ever, and my second most played game this year is School Idol Festival on my fucking phone.
I play video games, but I like them less and less with every moment, until eventually I don't even try anything new and only stick to the franchises and developers I trust.
