It wasn't that bad despite the ridiculous size. Really the only complaint I had was the abxy buttons were extremely uncomfortable due to the shape.

I remember it being super comfy, why do people think it's so dumb? It serves the purpose it needs to, sure it's a little awkward, but this was one of the very first attempts at making a controller for 3D games.
The original Xbox controller was pretty good. Dpad wasnt the best but the complaints about the size were retarded. It was comfy as fuck in my average hands. OG Xbox was underrated. Damn

I was like 10 when I first used it and even then I didn't think the thing was overly big. My brother's modded xbox was great for playing old snes games like Chrono Trigger. I did think the slanted button layout, the smaller, askew black and white buttons and the d-pad were all horrible though.
