Whats wrong this company?
>>321768494
Shit game design.
>>321768494
I just don't like them.
>>321768494
they make shitty games
>>321768597
woah hey video games guys
>>321768494
>refusal to change engines
>downward slope of extreme casualization
>bastardizing Fallout
>poor writers after Morrowind
>snoozefest combat, boring exploration, bad balancing
Astounds me how this company seriously sells this well when almost all their games are mediocre to okay at most.

Open World bullshit

Exactly the same thing that is wrong about your post: it's missing a piece.
They're an RPG developer that can't write good stories.
>>321768494
they let consoles hold back their games/engines
it's their philosophy
this might sounds strange but their idea of development is to have a small frame to develop ideas and try them out, they want to be as short as possible on the design part, so that they can poilsh that what works.

>bethesda
>polish
?
>>321773075
>so that they can poilsh that what works
they can't even do that properly
>>321768494
every fucking thing
the same with bioware, both are sinking ship
>>321768494
They became content with releasing sub-par buggy games and throwing the onus of debugging onto modders.
They actually think people enjoy the wacky zaniness of the some of the bugs and go out of their way to not solve them.
>>321773202
>>321773220
yeah that is what they say though

What are they polishing with? fucking hammers?
They sold their souls to men in suits.

"Quantity over quality" philosophy

>the square will never be whole
Todd became insecure about his height
I think, personally, Todd Howard needs to stop having these visions of grandeur. He feels, through his games, that he is on top. Fallout 4 is an example of that. All he did was take the fallout liscence, slap together a building mechanic al la memecraft, put in CoD type shooting, removed the rpg portion of the game, and said "Lets add wacky 50s motif again, just cus." Todd needs to leave and let someone else run the ship.

This. They just make their world so large and superficially pretty it allows the casual audience to forget the poor writing, hacked together quest lines, and terrible graphical and runtime errors.
It's weird to me when people post videos of flying people on YouTube and say it is a funny quirk and not the sign of lazy game developers

JUST

todd gets smaller every second someone doesnt buy fallout 4's season pass
They're given a pass when they release buggy games.

WORKS
>>321774036
I agree. Though most people nowadays think shit writing and pixel shit graphics are amazing gameplay. IMO, I feel like games are going to take the long walk off a short cliff to placate audiences and femnazis. They let you bone a robot in the game ffs.
I'll let you know when they actually finish a game.
>>321768494
They fill their game with useless shit and then expect that their massive amount of garbage will make their price point worth it. Nothing is polished... its all trash.
Why didn't you buy it?
>>321774467
too busy playing actually good games like donkey kong country 2 and serious sam TFE
my backlog > your unpolished turd
>>321768494
their motto is "if we can't get it right, then remove it"
their work is lazy and effortless. they lie to consumers by claiming they worked very hard and that their game is a full retail game.
>>321774798
vaguely relevant to your post, I've had more fun with Mini Metro than Fallout 4, no fucking joke
>>321769038
Good or bad, their games fill the "first-person open world fantasy sword/gun games" gap up front, are easy to mod with, and mass marketing.
Which leads me to add these to your list:
>reliant on user-made content to fix their games
>lies/exaggerates about their ambitions each game
>finds major ways to jew people (first micro-DLC, now paid mods)
>>321776162
>reliant on user-made content to fix their games
Most of their player base is on consoles now this isn't the case for the majority of players.
