Yes, both for casuals and for hardcore fighting game people.
I'd say it's actually a 10/10 game, it nails everything you can think of: UI/menu design, music, voice acting, quality of life stuff, art style, character design, the gameplay itself, the lore, it's all fantastic. Only problem is it doesn't have a lot of characters.

it's somewhat easy to pick up and learn, but online play is an absolute nightmare unless you've already mastered the game. It definitely helps if you already know your way around fighting games
It's a small community compared to other FGs, so everyone playing online has been practically playing since the game launched. i haven't really found a place for newer players to match up against each other for practice/learning so if you're totally new to fighting games it's best to just avoid online for a while.

No. You do more damage and can survive more. In fact, you're at a huge advantage against 3-man teams since it usually takes one reset to pick off a character and a double snap against a 2-man group puts them alone with less damage or health. Basically you need you need to be good with your person and you can do wonders, if not you get wrecked. Just watch out for shit match ups.
