I can feel it. This week as we reflect and tell 2015 goodbye, I feel 2016 will be a good year of videogames. Doom, God Eater, the Last Guardian, and even Gundam will be there to ever so lightly brush on it. The next E3 will be coming sooner than you think too. Kaneko was involved in main character design up til Strange Journey. Even since then, Doi has done the character design for everything minus the Devil Survivor games which had Suzuhito Yasuda as the character designer.
It's not that they're bad per se (besides the fact that both are prone to quite the case of sameface), but their designs lack the distinct uniqueness nor the various touches that Kaneko's designs had. Hikaru's design is so plain and boring that if it weren't for her dialogue,no one would've guessed that miss pretty schoolgirl-chan was the fucking demon lord Lucifer
Anybody else having a 'quarter life crisis' here?
I turn 26 this year and it seems like every year ahead just gets worse and worse.
I rarely talk to my last remaining 3 friends from HS, I rarely see my last several friends from college, my parents are getting older, I'm losing my hair, I feel unskilled at my low paying career, my girlfriends younger sibling and my coworkers my age are getting married, and my girlfriends biological clock is ticking so if I want to get married / have kids without putting them at risk for shit like autism I need to do it in the next five years.
I am plagued by the thought of getting old, having my body and my mind crumble to dust, and then disappearing forever.
