It's a Mystery Dungeon game that uses classes, enemies, items, etc from EO series. Killing some enemies specific ways, like in EO, net different drops/rewards. The problem is that it's broken (forgot the method, but you can basically prem-buff stats to ridiculous numbers) and the dungeons really feel repetitive.

I've heard great things about Super, hadn't gotten around to it myself, but it has to be better than Gates.
If you enjoy the basic/classic style of EO games and want more of it, Persona Q is great.
