The second fight against Sam literally gives me shivers. The music and the setting and the AI are the perfect blend of a samurai movie/western with a sweet electronic beat and squealing guitars. If I didnt have my hands on my pad trying not to get my face sliced off I'd have been fapping the first time I played that fight.

They developed a mobile game which made a boatload of cash for outstanding return on investment (considering how little effort it took to develop). CEO figured why the fuck would they try to make quality games anymore. So they cancelled everything and fired Kojima (who, being a real artist who understands what artistic progress actually implies and involves, clashed with this vision).
They're essentially not a videogame company anymore (though the videogame aspect of the company was never the main one, afaik).

Also Monsoon. His was the only fight that really felt like two people really struggling to kill the shit out of each other.
Thinking back on it, it was how distinct the patterns and phases were that I disliked with other bosses, yet Monsoon also had distinct patterns and phases.
Armstrong is a close second because of great of a culmination it was to everything and because of how fun it was.
