I like it and MGSV is probably my GOTY but Konami should have let Kojima be done with it and make more mecha games like he wanted like 15 years ago

Metal Gear is one of my favourite game series but I'm glad to see it end.
Kojima has made it abundantly clear for years now that he wants to move on to other things, glad he can actually do that now with his own studio.
I doubt I'll be buying another Metal Gear if Konami shit one out. The series has nowhere to go at this point and it will just be a ham-fisted cash grab.

It had a good run and deserves to rest now before it gets even more retarded.
I enjoyed V but the story completely shat itself past 3, that's why I will always consider 1-3 and the originals as the only canon.

The worst part about TPP wasn't how disappointing it's story was, it was realizing that metal gear had been dead for years and I never really got to experience it in it's own time.
