My main problem with 2, memes aside, was the fact that the characters you were supposed to like were so fucking unlikeable.
It was offputting when they made terrible jokes or choices that were obviously wrong.
Also, the fact that the Vault Hunters became heroes for no reason, they weren't bad guys but they weren't good guys either.
That said, again, I think its a good game which suffers from bad characterisation and relies on popculture to keep the player interested, instead of its own world like 1 did.
I've heard the prequel fucks the original siren over too, haven't played it though, so can't say for sure.
