Definitely. Jagex is an example of a company that caters way too much to their playerbase. Literally anything that the players want is provided to them. They even have their own developer team dedicated to making slice of life updates whenever they are made aware of aspects of the game that are too cumbersome.
If you don't like Jagex, it's basically saying you don't like the players (which ironically, i can fully understand because the community hasn't changed a bit over the past 15 years). For every player against something, there's another supporting it - Jagex is simply in the middle of it all trying to poll the outcome and going with whichever side gains the majority vote.

i could go on for an hour about this with tons of cited information, but i'll just summarize for you what is so creepy about 4chan and SA and their downfall:
both sites started as essentially the same thing: a hybrid discussion board/content generation portal, spurred on because of similar places like Newgrounds. the early years on both sites are always heralded to be the best, both sites suffered a rapid decline because of the creators (moot and lowtax) ceasing to give as much of a fuck, and hiring on new staff members to carry the load for them (not sure on the identities of all the various mods that have ruined 4chan besides moot, but the downfall of SA can be directly blamed on lowtax, for allowing Y Kant Ozma Post and Fistggrl to become moderators, completely bypassing their entry procedures to ensure said moderators are not shitheads)
years down the road, the rules on both sites went from jokes (especially 4chan, who didn't have any rules besides "don't post illegal content like CP or beastiality") to being seriously, heavily enforced, which crippled the communities and content generation on both sites. 4chan went from "the asshole of the internet" to a christian family friendly website, and SA went the same route, except it costs money to post on SA so getting banned is even worse.
now, moot has completely left and abandoned 4chan, lowtax handed forum control over to others and only keeps SA alive to fund his massive pill and alcohol habits.
there's a shit ton of details and specific events i left out but both sites have basically risen and fallen in the exact same manner, for the exact same reasons, around the exact same times. both sites went from being "kings of the internet" as far as content portals are concerned, to filth-ridden cesspools full of unwanted users who never manage to fit in.

Tutorial island was always a shit anyway. In my day you just started off as an adventurer, a warrior, or a mage with PK enabled or disabled initially and you went on your merry way.
Tfw your first day on you roll an adventurer with PK enabled and get ganked by people all over Lumby 'til you finally cave and use one of your three PK toggles straight out of the gate. Then walk up to Varrock and watch a PKer get murdered by a guard for trying to start shit in town. THEN watch in horror as someone kills the a guard, then the strongest monster in the game, right in front of the west bank.

New Londo is not below Blighttown/Demon Ruins/Izalith.
It should be pushed up and to the left, also the big tree should continue down into Ash Lake. It wouldn't fit the shape of the image though, but there's better ways the artist could have done it: instead of vastly stretching the Firelink-New Londo elevator, he should have stretched Blighttown vertically, to allow New Londo to fit infront of it, then have the lava be the bottom with Ash Lake extending from the tree.

It's kinda unclear, but the map doesn't show the Abyss (or the Kiln).
But to get to Blighttown you have to be on the same level as the wooden bridges in New Londo, then cross a bridge and go down even further, then the lava area are below that again.
The image puts the Valley of the Drakes bridge next to Firelink, when it should be at the bottom of a lengthy elevator that bypasses the hight of New Londo's cavern.
If you look at it in 3D I'm pretty sure Qualaag's domain is directjy below New Londo.

The cash shop (yes they have a fucking cash shop now WITH the membership) allow you to get overrides to dress up your character. Tails, wings, glowing eyes. Hell there is even a werewolf override iirc. The game is more about dressup as that seem make better money than having a good game. They also jack the price up from $5 to like almost $8 now though you will have to buy a year worth of membership with a minor discount for exclusive rewards. O and there is literally a minigame where you can spin to win once a day if F2P and twice a day if P2P. Either way you can pay for more spins. If you get an amazing rare but member only item then you must become a member to accept it or lose it. Most items give at least 1k coins but if you are F2P and the item is members then you will just lose it. So even if a F2P spin a godsword, where a member have a choice to trade it for cash or accept it a F2Per only have the choice of drop it or buy membership on the spot.
This isn't strictly a game map, but it's the map of the Minecraft project I work on with people. Much of it made "by hand" with plugins.

Morrowind is really amazing, I just started getting into it and the amount you can do compared to skyrim and oblivion is insane. The potions you can make, the spells, the variety of weapons and clothing. The fact that you aren't bombarded by a creature every 5 seconds (besides those birds) makes the game feel more realistic and not a game. I wondered if you could go over the ghost fence early so I used levitate spells and was amazed you could. I've been playing for days and I didn't even go to the east coast of the map yet. Bethesda got really lazy with the sequels

Whenever I try to play runescape I get assaulted by tons of bullshit that detracts from the base game, turning it from a cool MUD RPG type game into fucking faggot's first fantasy dressup game featuring moneybags the cash shop kid and the "we don't talk to anyone outside clan chat" crew. Even if I were to play OS, there's really no point since I've already done everything there is to do in that version of the game, the point of continually updating the game is to keep it fresh. Offering a 7 year old version of the game doesn't make up for fucking up the base game through shitty updates.
