Finished mgr revengeance and bayonetta and looking for more action games worth playing
It's an amazing combat system trapped in a mediocre game.
But yes I have played it for almost a decade now and it's still fun to pick up and play.

Basically this. DMC4 Dante is probably the deepest action game character ever, and likely will never be topped. And the extra characters that SE adds (Virgil, Lady, Trish) are incredibly fun.

It's similar to Bayonetta except you actually need to learn the combos to be effective in combat and get that SSS rating.
I love Bayo but it doesn't hold a candle to DMC4 once you just do bloody palace and star learning how to style.
It will feel slugish and slow to you until you learn the combat, there isn't that much diversity of combat movements in comparation with bayonetta neither, it's more the freedom to combine moves due to no dial combo system what most people here praise than anything else.
It's okay. I like how Nero keeps trying to be edgy but Dante won't let him.
Had $30 steam bucks so I bought it. Partially happy I can support DMC more.Not like capcom cares about what their fans actually buy

The game isn't finished so people on release were meh on it. Plus, on release people can't fully explore the characters. Over years the games full potential has come out. The gameplay mechanics have been explored and documented. SE at adds new content and the PC version of the original and SE (Maybe the console version now too?) Has Legendary Dark Knight which is really cool. Adds a ton more enemies and shit.
