I think that's kind of the point though. She was the super straight laced serious type to contrast with her brother who was a sarcastic jackass.
I do kind of wish the personalities had been swapped though. So many recent Assassin's protagonists have basically been trying to be Ezio 2.0 and none of them have really had the same mix of charisma, charm and being a professional badass all at the same time.
Might have been interesting to see the guy try to be the professional one while the sister was the goofball butthey can't have the woman show any kind of incompetence. Meanwhile, Jacob can fuck shit up and it's just played for a laugh.
At least they're a better pair than Arno and Elise though. Elise was super qt but Arno was dull as fuck.

Edward is the only one that they've done recently that I really liked. Not sure if my opinion of him is because he was in a game I enjoyed so much but it also didn't seem like he was trying to be an Ezio clone like the characters have been the past couple of years.
Maybe if Ezio gave a thousand percent less fucks about the Assassins it would have been Edward but that would make Ezio pretty different considering being an Assassin consumed his life.
