Sadly Phantom Brave sold like shit... But personally I thought this was the best srpg that Nis ever made. It's a huge step up from grid system but funny how no gaming journalist ever praised them for this. Story was also heartwarming.

The Story is weaker than Phantom Brave's. No NIS game is perfect. They all have their pros and cons. But to me that also added to their appeal and did not make them feel stale. I have yet to play a sequel to Disgaea completely. Only played the demo of 5 and that was already very similiar to Disgaea.
