Speaking of eRP. I have a real dilemma here, mmo pervs.
I'm playing an MMO on a private server and despite it having a fairly comfortable population for a private serv you still pretty much get to know all the regulars over a few weeks since it's usually the same people actively speaking in chat and shit. To the point; I want to be some kind of unofficial server slut.
Not some eRP profile shit where I openly just ask people to fug, but to become well known as this sort of "underground" healer whore that will take anything up the ass if requested, I want to service the entire server yet openly deny (in public) that I do such things, all the while having 10 dicks up my ass and everyone knows it.
How do I achieve such level of sluttery? I have a small reputation at the moment as just some random healer that chats in general chat, but I have yet to take a dick in the mouth once, not really sure how to approach it without just asking randoms if they want a quickie in the alley, which besides they may not be into eRP, which is understandable. Posting on the forum or something is a no no since that's too overt and not behind the scenes enough

When playing MMOs I spend my free time jogging everywhere and doing stupid pointless busy work. Whereas irl I enjoy my free time doing stuff I actually enjoy.
I'm a little more talkative in-game than in real life, but I still try to be nice and polite and help people out. I've never been into trash-talking or name-calling or general verbal hostility, even here on 4chan.
I'm vicious when spontaneous world PvP is an option, though. I love that feeling of chasing somebody down when they're trying to run away. If they give up and accept death or they're AFK I always lose interest and leave them alone.
I've been playing RuneScape for almost two weeks now and I still haven't made a friend. I join the RuneScape general on /vg/ and just watch them meme to themselves. I think there should be more group or team related quests to get people to grind together.
I was doing agility and there was another guy I could have started chatting to and now I'm wondering why I didn't.
I'm not very good at keeping an interesting topic going. Needs improvement, posting on 4chan or forums is easier since I can just post and move on.

Playing on the Phinigel server. It's pretty good so far - it's the closest to a recreation Sonynow known as Daybreakcan offer. Unfortunately, a lot of the nostalgia of difficulty is missing - you no longer have to run to your corpse to loot it, experience loss on death is drastically less harsh, a map and compass are now included, the interface isn't the massive block it used to be, currency is much easier to acquire and kids who never originally played it are starting to get on, and they've a drastically different sort of personality from returning players.
It's still nice and fun though. Pretty damn cozy. The community as a whole is great and the numbers are pretty solidly high. I'm playing it with my father and we're having a blast.
I would not, however, reccomend anything in EQ outside of this server. Everything else is rather bizarre. Pay to win items and mounts and everything.

I think my most proud moment was in a LFG queue in WoW. The Thank kept charging on ahead and he was queued with a DPS. I kept politely telling him to slow down but starting bitching about me needing to go faster. I plainly told him that he needs to get his shit together at my pace or they can have fun waiting for a new Healer. After he died a few times of me not healing him and healing one of the other DPS as a makeshift tank, he fell into place and submissively kept tanking the instance until the instance finished. It was wonderful.

For a healer to not be dime-a-dozen there needs to be 3 DPS for every healer on a global scale. This is no longer the case. There are also a lot more tanks than there used to be, although still heavily outnumbered by anyone else, and 90% of the new tanks are fucking awful.

Agree with on every level. Most new tanks always take mid-tier aggro skills with high damage, despite have half-assed damage on gear instead of pushing for as much aggro on gear and skills alike so that the DPS doesn't over-draw and thus wipe the party/massively slow down the dungeon.
Also, Tera is still going strong and is a prime example of dime-a-dozen DPS. Instant queues in every dungeon levelling Priest, near instant in late-game dungeons.
Tanks are in 2nd highest demand in Tera, Priests, and to a far lesser extent, Mystics, are #1 demand and nobody ever plays them because their kits are actually somewhat complicated given a good healer has to be able to constantly double-triple debuff the boss, actually corral party for initial and pre-final boss buffs, and keep the tank healed given a rather clunky placement system for your main heals.

Thing about dancers is the "meta" for this type of game is to just loop an AFK macro for your dancer to rake in EXP. It's not really as slutty as you'd expect, however on that note I actually am doing just that for that exact same reason. Nothing like using dance to be a massive slut, but it doesn't really lend itself as much as you'd think to it since the game is relatively AFK ish when it comes to buffs

Most new tanks are awful because they haven't figured out what tanking actually is. You're not playing the game, you're playing against how retarded your group is. You have to look for who is going to pull aggro, who is not targeting off of you, and who likes to put up a ton of threat before you have a chance to hit the mob.
You're forced to out think and plan for your dps playing a completely different game. They get to giggle and press the colorful buttons at random. You have to watch everything happen and be a step ahead of all of them.

I used to be a jerk; leveling Resto druid really sucked and I carried a lot of that with me into dungeons.
Then I got into a raiding guild because I became the pocket healbot for someone leveling his warrior alt, and he wanted me in because I wasn't retarded and wasn't a drama whore (yet).
Years later I rerolled Hunter and being able to FD to avoid duraloss AND have people thank me because I could cable the healer, really helped take the edge off.
Also that hunters have or had a fucking ton of CC (double trap, wyvern sting, scatter shot, pet taunt, self taunt + kiting, deterrence, misdirection) meant if someone fucked up I could do a lot to fix it and if I couldn't, I just FD'd.
I've played Ranger in a lot of games (don't ask me why I rolled Druid at the outset of vanilla WoW) and WoW's is by far the best implementation of Ranger, second best is Guild Wars 1
