Physical/Special split, proper difficulty for a Pokemon game and loads of content.

B2W2 are still pretty good.
Much better than BW and DP, but worse than Pt and HGSS

The pinnacle of the series is definitely either Platinum HG/SS or BW2. The best is mainly just based on which you prefer but they're all great games.

How is GF so fucking good at improving the main games of each gen for the third version (Diamond and pearl were terrible but platinum was 9//10), but suck so hard at making new gens?

Pokemon is made to appeal to the lowest common denominator. I don't mean that in a "your series is shit, famo," I mean they make it as accessible to the greatest possible audience for the most sales.

With all the free updates and better balancing I feel this game is coming damn close to surpassing it's predecessor...finally.

BUT CoH2 matchmaking is still horrendously burdensome and the cosmetic microtransactions still exist so it's hard to tell. But the tech improvements (dynamic line-of-sight, fire spread, winter weather) are awesome...Which do you think is better today soldiers, CoH 1 or CoH 2?

B/W2 are my favorite pokemon games desu

I prefer emerald the best but I dont care about natures and IV's or competetive shit.
Platinum was good but I didnt like the region much except for the big mountain area. I remember needing alot of HM's though and that was fairly annoying.

And the special/physical split doesnt really matter to story stuff since the games are piss poor. I do play a 356+difficulty+stat split version of emerald every once in a while and its pretty good. Late game team editions can be annoying though since the level difference between wild and trainer pokemon becomes like 1:3 towards the end of the game.
