Nah in every front, XV looks like it will be one of the best FFs yet, KH3 shaping up well, DQ11, getting DQ7 and 8 3DS, SaGa coming again etc, and Setsuna isn't a "side" game, it's a brand new IP.

My problem is that they are just trying to modernize it. Now it's more like Kingdom Hearts in fighting, talking about some things that "doesn't work in today's society" and now it's episodic makes me wary even more. I am I really hope I'm wrong and you are right. But it feels like instead of remaking FF7 they are just trying to change FF7 with what their modern ideas of it with Cloud being emo in everything he is (even in Kingdom Hearts for fuck sakes). I mean it could have been just really poor localization (FF7 has a really fucking bad localization) but Cloud was more of a smart aleck. Yeah he had problems but he was much more likable than he is in AC and in games he started in.
