Blitzkrieg Anthology and its sequel are a wargamers wet dream as far as RTS goes. Its got quite a difference in play styles for nations, where Germany has to be micromanaged to keep your panzer core alive but the Russian campaign is all macro after the first really hard mission. Allies are in between with the British being more macro (Matilda ii and Churchill V are very survivable tanks) and Murica has a lot of vehicles with half decent survivability, so you have to play careful

I'm currently playing Quake using the Quakespasm port. Gifted a bro over Steam a copy of it too.
Gameplay feels tight and for the most part didn't really age. The controls are fine also. These actually make the game really playable even in 2015.
