There are a lot of charities in the world that dont do shit. This has become a fact that is more and more well known in recent years as a lot this shit has been exposed.
However the red cross however goes to motherfucking war zones to help people who really need it the most. Sure, fuck the charaties who talk about giving tuxes to bums, but the people giving in the field blood transfusions to save lives in a major conflict are in a slightly different category. Talking shit about the red cross not doing anything is the very definition of "a little knowledge is dangerous". Lots of charities are bullshit but not nearly all.
