I saw a RoR thread earlier today and people there told me I could play online with a pirated version, so I got one. Never managed to connect to the given IP, so I tried some singleplayer. Everything took a million shots to kill and I died like a bitch though I did manage to make it to the second level. Then on my second try the game just randomly crashed for no apparent reason. Then I tried once again to connect to the guy but no luck. So I uninstalled.
You guys gonna be around? I'll get that game again then and this time I hope I'll be able to play with you. Seemed like a fun game, really.

So, assuming someone manages to host a game and I manage to connect, how does in-game communication work? I don't see any way to open a chat window or anything of the sort, at least in SP.

Secondly, nowhere did I state any specific way that I'd want to play. The standard RoR rules were fun and challenging at first when the game was bigger and had a more warmed-up community, but there's not much fun in games lasting 3 minutes where the last 2 minutes are survived by one guy. I still play because I love RoR but playing the same old way every single time is just as bad as playing the "casual" way.
