Seconding what he said. V was disappointing on launch and I'm not pleased i had to buy expacs to fix that but the final product has sucked up hours and hours from me. Workshop support is also a plus.
Playing as kamehameha on an archipelago map is easy mode against any computer, too, i kinda reccomend learning using them.

When i was a small kid i played this RPG on the Super nintendo game but i dont remember what its called and its KILLING ME.
You start at some kind of mountain? you meet some kind of ninja, the battle system is similar to earthbound where you see the enemies on front with black bars underneath where you hose your attacks.
I think the beginning was about trying to do a jump from one end of the mountain to another.
