Why the fuck is it 150 $?

I could understand maybe 100, but for the price they are asking I could get 4 regular ones.

It's half the price of the console

I'm not a codfag. How much do those modded controllers cost that all the kiddies need to have for tournaments in that and halo? I imagine it's around the same price

If no expense or sense is spared, anything can be made "the best", it just needs to released in the right market at the right time.
In the late 90's to early 00's Sony once tried to make a line of super-elite products that would be the defacto best in their product category and would simply be called Qualia. Problem was, Sony as a brand was on a decline, and the world just wasn't really for luxury products since there was a lot of political turmoil going on.
With that said, gamers have no problem dropping $60 on a mouse and $80 on a keyboard these days, so $150 for a high-end input device isn't especially outrageous.

>>321404702
You do realize the Elite controller ships with the original d-pad in addition to the radar dish, right?
>>
>>321404702

No.

What does it do that my 360 controller doesn't?
Baring in mind the £20 price tag on my current controller.

$150 = £90

for £90 (assuming 360 controllers are still the same price)
I could buy 1 controller, have my dick sucked by a fleshlite AND STILL have change left over.

Can a 720 controller suck my dick?

But you use your keyboard and mouse all the time, that much money for a controller is ridiculous

The controller probably costs $10 to make, max. Also, it in no manner is the best product, especially not if including translators for mouse and keyboard on consoles.. or controllers that are modded to be the exact same but cheaper -- even with trackballs.

DS3 - better for platformers, fighting games

DS4 -better for shootan

Since you play shootan with keyboard anyways, DS3 is the better PC controller. Also, way better built. DS4 is some low-quality shit.
>>

The grippy material is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever held in my life. The skin on your fingers start to tingle after a little while because of the awkward sensation of the pattern. It's pretty awful.
>>
>>321409073
Besides, you the purchaser can easily tell which one is genuine by the software updates. Titan One has a superset of all the others' features, and has more frequent updates with more recent software versions.

Its good and the disk is magnetic so you can take it off and still have the standard 4 way d-pad you're used too.

I mean, I agree that it's overpriced as fuck, but they actually built it well. My friend got one with his elite xbone and its nice. Those back buttons are also magnetic and come off, which is great cause if you're not used to them you're going to be accidentally pressing them all the fucking time.

I'd rather not have a custom controller route, because you don't get all the sensitivity slider options and onboard profile that you do with the Elite controller that way. Yes, scuf and your link for that custom exists, but a custom controller is stuck with what a stock controller has to work with integration wise.

I am actually kind of fed up that Sony wouldn't fully realize the potentials of DS4 and completely open it up for us PCucks. I would like to have the bluetooth audio streaming fully enabled because it's a decent feature. I got a wireless dongle with that elite controller because of my first world preference of convenience, and I doubt I am the only one who would pay the premium for the convenience factor.

And when the fuck will Sony get a move on and make a premium DS4 equal to the Elite already?

G700 is so good. Everything feels so cheap in comparison after using it. I took the chance and went with a G502 for my current mouse. Took a while getting used to, but it's pretty good. I hope they've made a new generation of G700 by the time I've worn it out.
>>
>>321417806
Same. G700 does have a few issues though.

1. The cord. I can't live with the stock cord.
2. The battery life. Single battery doesn't cut it.
3. Omron switch does get worn out in a few years, especially left click. I had to take the mouse apart to replace the switch spring a month ago.
>>
What's the difference between the regular XBONE controller and the XBONE Elite controller?
>>
>>321417806
When my G700 broke I didn't know where to look. Settled for the MX Master and the quality is amazing. It hasn't got all the side buttons but it's just so nice to use.
>>
>>321418048
Twice the weight, much better build quailty, paddles on the back, hair trigger switches, and a bunch of other things
>>
>>321418061
But the MX master is not exactly a replacement for the G700. I thought about it before. You can't store profiles onboard with the MX master for one.
>>
>>321418272
Here's what's available for that controller on the PC app:
Sensitivity settings, rumble adjustment, 2 onboard profiles, button remapping, deadzone customization, game-specific profile.
>>
>>321418419
Is it worth it to get the Elite Controller instead of the regular one? I don't really give a shit about price.
>>

>constant vibrating (and clicking sound) when using the right pad

>>
>>321418547
It's the best 360 controller, bar none. It's the best at doing whatever that the 360 controller does.
>>
>>321418643
You have to tweak it. I don't use it where you would use a normal controller, be it DS4 or Xbone. I for one would Nep on DS4 or the Elite, but not with the Steam controller.
>>
>>321418682
Yeah but is it worth getting the XBONE Elite instead of XBONE Regular?
>>
>>321418947
It's good. If you factor the price out of the equation, then go for it. If you don't factor that out, then I would hesitate to call it 3x as good as the normal xbone controller.

You may want to wait for a Lunar White Elite to come out. Supplies are damn short for the elite right now, and I think MS will release limited elite such as that in 2016.
>>
>>321418024
Cord wasn't great, but I made it work. I stopped using wireless at some point so the battery didn't bother me much.
My personal issues were mostly that the "feet" got worn out and was kinda expensive to replace (shipping costs mostly), and one of my G700s lost two side buttons, but I just retired it for laptop use at that point.
My biggest annoyance was probably that the metal part on the scroll wheel started getting a bit rusty after using it for a long time.
Finally, as with many Logitech mice, it started double clicking by itself, which prompted me to replace it.
Over the years, I've had several replacement mice sent to me free of charge from Logitech, without proving my old one was broken (they were).
>>
>>321418643
>>constant vibrating (and clicking sound) when using the right pad
How about toning down the haptics?
Actually how about fucking configuring it, you retard?
>>
>>321419180
Yes, the hyperscroll wheel does rust. You have to be rather diligent in cleaning it to keep it pristine. And the double clicking bug comes from omron switch burning out. I didn't go the RMA route that you have, and just took it apart while I replace the feet to get the spring replaced.

(I hate the gayman inspired look of the G700S, you see)
>>
>>321419396
I don't mind the look. I may have to go back to it one day, as the G502 has issues of its own. But it's too early to say.

It's really not worth it. The Razer Sabertooth is the same idea with more functionality and less than half the price.
>>
>>321422074
I don't totally agree with you in the sense that Sabertooth lacks wireless support, but the price that it goes for nowadays ($80 or so) isn't so bad. You don't get to switch sticks, but $80 isn't all too much.

(yes, it's a 360 controller, not xbone)

The other problem with Razer that I have is that their durability leave me with some doubt.

Dumb as shit? Well yes and no. It doesn't work out if I have access to a mouse, but if I am sitting some 4' away, then it's a no brainer.

It's not that it couldn't be a 360 controller. Far from it. I just rather use the Elite due to how it feels in my hands. I hate Valve for making the Gabencontroller feel dirt cheap.
>>
>>321402384
Well personally I felt the Bone controller's fundamentals were inferior to both the DS4 and 360, so I don't see how making it out of better parts would fix that

Shit's the smallest feeling controller right now, the buttons are too clicky, the sticks offer too little feedback, and the overall shape is too blocky and jagged to be comfortable for long periods

My perfect controller would be a DS4 with more concave plastic sticks and Bone triggers
