It's complete, unmitigated trash. The only good thing about it is that they used the original VAs from the show, minus Crispin Freeman for Togusa. Old, busted engine, poor mechanics, poor Ability utilization, etc.
Then again, this is something Nexon touched. One should expect it to be horrible. The Major looks good, at least.

I've played it since the first round of the closed beta, hoping it would improve to something playable. It hasn't. Far too clunky due to the old engine it's built on and everything about the game suffers due to that (balancing, mechanics/physics, etc.). Plus, Nexon.
There's plenty of people who will think this is "good", mostly due to them not actually having a valid opinion on it, just whether or not they can play it and have fun.

It's based on the tv series which had a lot of drabby and "bland" looking areas. It was a near-future kind of style so only some parts of the cities and such looked different.
The movies are more off in the deep end of the futuristic / gritty as fuck cyberpunk look.
