I'll pick it up every once in a while to unlock more animals, costumes, and reports. I bought the game on launch but only unlocked all the animals last month.

Don't worry anon. I played it solo when it was released. Tried it with a friend few weeks back, tho.
So it's pretty good, even if you are playing solo. Buy it, if it goes on sale.

Yep, but you'll need to git gud. I did all the missions solo. It was actually pretty satisfying, since the endgame actually requires some multitasking skills from the solo player.
