I separate Fusion because of personal preference, the atmosphere captivated me, the whole thing felt like Samus was the one being hunted, as opposed to the other way around, which was very intriguing.

Other than that, pretty great, but not a GOAT game. The battle mechanics didn't differentiate themselves much from others, as aside from the djinni there wasn't much unique stuff to it. Don't even try to push the minor twist on the empedoclean elements as a work of art. The world had a lot of potential, though. It's a shame Dark Dawn happened.

You really did not understand the plot of Golden Sun.Agatio,Karst,Saturos,and Menardi were bad guys, they were after the power of the golden sun.Felix new this,but he also new that if they didnt light the lighthouses the world would be destroyed along with his parents that only Agatio and Karst could free.So he used Agatio and Karst to help light the lighthouses, but when they died Saturos and Menardi came in so he had to get help from Isaac and his team.This is an amazing story and Felix was a badass antihero.

There. I fucking said it after years of keeping my mouth shut. I really feel like people were just sour after all the changes between 3 and 4 and took it out on 4. All the core gameplay is there. The story is just as the same as ever really if not a bit less intense because they are established badass heroes.
Give it a rest. MMBN 4 is NOT that bad.

This game was full of unique art.The djinn fusion summons,those were greatly crafted as well as the powers of the weapons.Dont you remember the blade that had agito,Felix would rise to space and attack with a gigantic meteor,that was amazing.Even the enemies were unique they did not have any common blobs or goblins they were drawn with great detail.Does no one really appreciate Golden Sun.

Lack of story aside, the dark soul/chip system is terrible (losing permanent HP by trying another battle style is bullshit) and the soul system isn't good. But I agree it doesn't deserve that much hate, the game isn't worse than Battle Network 1.

The graphics were great, but I was also really into the battle system and dungeon puzzles too. It was my first time experiencing something like. The story was balls though, I agree. Too bad Camelot couldn't capture that magic a third time.

My biggest problem with 1 isn't even the map (which is really bad) but the battles, there's no change of pacing on them (all the chips flinch, even your charged buster flinches) and your chips aren't really important, you can have an alphabet soup and you can still do well for the rest of the game. Hell, you don't even need your chips, just boost the buster's attack and rapid and you are done with it. It gets boring really fast. At least in 4 you can connect both versions of the game and you can have 12 exclusive navis in one game making the game more interesting.
