Why is this NES game so popular? I've seen it being talked about everywhere, and i know about it having a remastered version. Is this a classic? To me it's a just a Disney game, haven't even played it though.
It's a Disney game made by Capcom on the NES. Anything with those qualifications is guaranteed to be a good game.

Pretty much all of Capcom's Disney games were top notch, not just DuckTales.
DuckTales kind of got this cult following because it showed up on a lot of best NES music lists because the Moon theme.

The remastered one is definitely cool, but I prefer the NES because of nostalgia. If you don't have that kind of feeling towards 8-bit stuff, just go with the remaster.
