I've tried to play through KOTOR twice now and each time I get to just before the swoop race and end up losing interest before I even get off Taris. It's not that it's bad or anything, I just get distracted by something else.
I think it's just that the gameplay doesn't do much for me. I'm familiar with the d20 system, but in play it feels like I'm playing an MMORPG by myself.
Carth and Juhani were annoying drama queens. Bastila was just a bitch. Everyone else was okay. I ran with Jolee and HK most of the game.

The game fucking prompts you saying (carth has a case of the feefees, why not talk to him) and every fucking time it ends with him being all frustrated having an autistic breakdown "OMG WHY ARE YOU ALL IN MY BUSINESS I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT OKAY!" the game sets it up so the player will hate carth for being a fucking cunt and so everyone does.

He's the most annoying to talk to, and early on he's very open about most things that you can already imply most of his backstory, he has no real mystique and gives you half a story that you know the ending too but you have to slog along another couple levels before he'll tell you just the last bit you already concluded. He's just really whiny.
