I just use this, bought it on sale a few months ago for like 5 dollars, at like 10 now. Quality is better than half the mics you'd get on a 60-80 dollar headset.

Razer Kraken, I didn't buy it because muh gamer gear. I thought the quality on the mic and sound were pretty good and I don't have room on my desk for a blue snowball which I would like to use at some point.
It's also pretty sturdy. Lasts for quite some time. Mine didn't break till an indecent during a house party. Bought the latest model a year ago and enjoying it since.
But I'm not in the tech-savy department, what would you guys prefer over my shit taste?

gaymen headsets are shits, headsets in general are shit and the steel series v3 is the worst. If you are going to use steel series at least use v2 which has a better quality mic and sound. The design also looks shit.
