First time getting through this area was tense as fuck.
Shit coming out of every which direction and then you fall into a path with a bunch of ayy lmaos.
It's one of the more tense areas in the game until you actually figure out the layout, after that it just becomes a forest with a bunch of snakes you can run past.

I actually died the first time I fought Micolash. On the second phase I got lost looking for him and thought the bridge that raised up after the fight was a short cut and fell to my death.

I died the first time too, because I never take a fight seriously the first time. I got rekt by his tentacles. The only bosses I first-timed were Cleric Beast, BSB, Amygdala, One Reborn (double KO so my trophy screenshot is a loading screen kek), and the Wet Nurse.

I loved that area, especially since it lacks the linearity a lot of the others have. You just keep running into fucking sneks, while trying to run away from sneks.

Forbidden Woods was easy on both my play throughs.
Upper Cathedral really gets me riled up but it was easy as fuck with my arcane guy. Tonitrus is pretty damn good.

I don't care what fucking loot it has, I make it a point to ALWAYS take the back door through blighttown. I've beaten the game multiple times and I only did Blightown during my first ever run. Never again. If I could skip the others I would.

I'm not sure if it's murakumo but the big sword with the curved tip that steals HP per hit is there.
Speaking of which I always wanted to make some form of HP regen build but DaS1 doesn't really make it viable. There's the butcher knife thing with 5HP per hit and the ring of the evil eye which is what.. 30 HP per kill? That's bollocks.

Regen miracle and elizabeth mushrooms need too much upkeep and focus, I wanted to make a sortof vampire build. Life regen, lifesteal etc. Ring of the Evil Eye is too little return for too much effort to justify a ring slot and Sanctus is 1HP per second, that's fucking arse unless you go AFK for 10 minutes after every punch you eat.
