More Metroid than Mario, this course is a big adventure with a flashy ending. It's somewhat challenging, but there are no cheap deaths. If anyone beats any of my Magikoopa courses, I'll play everything you've made. Someone with over 20 courses beat Fire & Ice overnight, so that's what I'll be playing for now. Finally played this level after seeing it posted so many times. I died twice because I got a time out.
It was really ingenious, but come on. Give a guy a break with a checkpoint or something. I don't want to do the same thing over and over again.

The course doubles back on itself several times, so the first checkpoint has to be after all of that. You can see it above you when you're in the fireball section. There's also another checkpoint right before the end. The part between the two checkpoint moves more quickly.

Based around the fluttering goomba shoe mechanic, but also completely beatable without one.

That factory level was the best level I've played in a long time. The P switch at the end turning the conveyor belts thus "shutting down" the factory was a great touch. Didn't like how it was the same set of cannons like 3 or 4 times in a row near the end, but everything else was perfect. Enjoy your star, you earned it.
