Certainly better than the first piece of concept art we saw. It still looks a bit too different from the first two games for my taste, but I'll reserve judgement until I see more.
However I can't help but feel that they are deliberately going for a more western artstyle in some misguided attempt to please western fans because we showed a bigger interest in the series than the Japanese.
