Which games have the best ladder mechanics of all time? It's 2015 and every time I encounter one of these I feel like nothing has been achieved at all in terms of technological advance.
Cry of Fear was a shitpile but it has the best ladder climbing I've seen.

Dark souls
Shadow complex let's you shoot from ladders and has rocket propelled ascension.
