It's okay. I like using it for platformers, and I guess it's meant for shooters as well but I wouldn't use it over a mouse and keyboard. My only problem with it is with fighting games because of the 360 ripoff of a d-pad, and racing games, especially racing gamers since the trigger is hard to keep pushing on and you'll get tired holding it for the entire race.

Used the F310. Good Dpad, alright buttons, slightly loose but okay sticks, triggers are a bit stiff. Overall its not bad.
I'ld love a Wii U Pro Controller with analogue though, that is comfy as fuck. Better dpad would also be nice, but I have a controller with no sticks for those types of games. Does such a thing exist?

The Xbone controller is much lighter than the 360 controller, but more responsive and tight. The PS4 pad isn't a higher build quality. It's a different build. It'll come down to preference.

You are kidding right? I don't have a Xbone but my friends all have one, and let me tell you that controller is a joy. My experience is all contrary to yours, I find that the Xbox controller has a very nice solid feel to it, while my PS4 controller feels too light. Also the battery is shit and the analog sticks are of terrible quality, the rubber gets fucked very easily

Biggest piece of crap I ever bought.
For one all the inputs suck. Buttons are really sticky and roll around, triggers don't have a good amount of give, joysticks have huge dead zones and don't move evenly, dpad is worse than the 360.
And the wireless was horribly inconsistent and eventually the thing just refused to turn on or do anything.
Save yourself the trouble and just buy an Xbox or dualshock controller, hell even the Wii U controller would be fine.

Mine has worked fine through two years of fairly hard use at this point. It fits well to my hands at least. Only real issues I've had with it is that on rare occasions it seems to lose the wireless connection/get stuck repeating some input for a brief moment but it's rare, only happen once every few gaming sessions.
Other problem was that recently when I reinstalled Windows 7 it was a royal pain in the ass to get drivers for it, for some reason Logitech's own shit didn't detect the controller at all (even though Windows did), I had to force it to install some Xbox 360 drivers and then the Logitech software started detecting it.
But yeah, provided you get it working you'll have a fine controller.

It's fine for the most part. I just don't like square brackets on my analog. It's not a big deal, especially if you're not using it for anything super intensive. Heck some people even like them. I just don't. The D-pad's great though and so are the face buttons. Shoulder buttons are good too, but pretty flimsy. Still much better than 360 shoulder brackets though.

it ain't bad. Not the most comfortable controller in the world-- the triggers tend to make my fingers sore after a while-- but it gets the job done, especially for the price. I have the blue version that doesn't have rumble, it's held up decently so far for the last couple years. I think the right bumper is starting to die but that's about it.
Also the d-pad mode switch is the best feature these all have, no joke. That shit needs to be standard on controllers

What in the actual fuck are you talking about? These things work both with Dinput AND Xinput, so if Xinput doesn't work (which is the standard built into almost every engine, so very rarely) you can swap to Dinput mode. These things work for almost EVERY game in Xinput mode.
