I honestly can't think of one definitive song. More like 3/4 the OST combined.
Also, I spoke kind of quickly. I also have to consider Final Fantasy VI. Its the one Uematsu OST where every song is memorable. No wonder he had a breakdown after doing it.

The SNES in general had a great sound system in general, and a lot of the quality games had soundtracks to match. Obviously all the Squaresoft games had great soundtracksFFMQ is underrated as fuck.
OgreBattle and TacticsOgre were also top-notch (I've always been sad that TacticsOgre was never ported to the SNESespecially since the SuperFamicom soundtrack was better than the PS1 version).
Shadowrun also had an underrated soundtrack.
