Either IV or Overclocked. If you like Overclocked, you should get its sequel, DeSu2: Record Breaker. Alternatively, if you like big tits, get Record Breaker first.
Soul Hackers has a great atmosphere and a very charismatic cast characters, but its gameplay is more or less clunky and could use ome polishing; it is a great game that you should get at some point, though.
Finish those games first.

Etrian Odyssey has very good demos that are literally the first 10 levels and few floors of the game, you can buy the game and pick up from where your demo party left off.
SMT4 is good if you're into that, definitely look into some details
Rune Factory 4 is great if you're into harvest moon but also some combat
Bravely Default has caught me again lately, also has a good demo

If you liked the Mario sports games, Mario Golf World Tour is good. The courses are nice, the online tournaments and matchmaking is pretty fun, and the DLC is the entirety of Mario Golf 64's, but with better controls. All that it's missing is the customizable RPG humans which were replaced by changing your Mii appearance-wise and stat-wise with clothing, though they're not nearly as overpowered.

I have played in a while but you have to ground pound when that happens. Jump and then meteor back to the ground with a spike. I forgot which button and I'm too lazy to start the game but it should be easy to figure out
Doing a ground pound leaves them in temporary stun which allows you to combo them. The game isn't as deep or difficult as people make it seem. For bosses you just ground pound and spam specials
